The British Pakistani Social and Cultural Centre (BPSC) gives a warm welcome to all members of the community. We are a vibrant central hub with a mission to help promote togetherness, self-respect and social cohesion in local communities and act as a welcoming meeting place for those needing further integration with an ever-changing mix of multicultural values.

We are a unique platform that strengthens the bond between present and future; Socially Responsible by providing cultural insight on lives of British Pakistanis. The UK is our home, and we are determine to make a significant contribution as a vibrant community.

Our Mission

We at British Pakistani Social and Cultral Center (BPSC) who exist for the purpose of serving to empower the local British Pakistani community, Through Cultural enrichment, cultural partnerships, social integration and growth. We want to offer British Pakistanis ways in which they can celebrate their culture, become educated and active participants in society with a focused voice that represents them.

Our Objectives

Cultural Preservation and Celebration

We wish to uphold the traditions of Pakistan, this includes language, art, music and cuisine hence will be organizing several events celebrating different aspects of culture including workshops and exhibitions. Our center also acts a community participant to mark important cultural events, such as Eid, Independence Day and others.

Community Empowerment and Support

We would like to offer resources and programs that empower families within the British Pakistani community. This includes free workshops, employment services, language courses and youth programs that help individuals grow personally and professionally.

Social Cohesion, Integration

Build Dialogue and Collaboration affecting cohesion within British Pakistani community with wider society. We attempt to bond our communities further; create original ideas and opportunities through interfaith based programs, social exchange events, civic awareness programs.

Youth Involvement & Mentoring

We are passionate about giving the youth training programs, and recreational activities for a positive effect. We feel they can be a voice in peer communities encouraging both British and Pakistani societies to accommodate the growing numbers.

Charity and Social Responsibility

As part of our social responsibility pledge, we have been instrumental in coordinating and supporting charitable events for the betterment of the British Pakistani community as well as members from the wider public. Whether that is supporting their fundraising drives, social services or community volunteering programs… we are here!

Our Services and Programs

Cultural Events and Festivals

From traditional Pakistani get-togethers and exhibitions to community-wide Eid celebrations and Pakistan Day events, we host a wide range of cultural activities that bring people together to celebrate and learn.

Youth Programs and Sports Activities

We organize sports leagues, recreational activities, and leadership programs designed to engage the youth and encourage healthy, active lifestyles. Our youth mentorship programs pair young people with successful professionals from the community.

Community Support Services

Our center provides access to legal aid, immigration support, and other social services that address the needs of the British Pakistani community.

As a founder of the British Pakistani Social & Cultural Community Center, it is my privilege to lead this initiative to not only built and promoting our community but also building capacity within our community.
